PEC Basic Orientation SafeLand/SafeGulf
Live ZOOM Course: Basic Orientation 7.0 is a one-day safety orientation that is accredited by both SafeLand™ and SafeGulf. This course meets API RP 75 and API RP T-1. In this course, students will learn about hazards they may encounter in their workplace and become familiar with various practices to mitigate those hazards. Students will also gain understanding of their rights under OSHA and how those rights apply to their workplace.

Live PEC Basic Orientation with SafeLand and SafeGulf
Choose this PEC Class option when you need Basic Orientation with the offshore module. Select an available date above and register for the live Zoom class. Sessions begin at 9:00 AM Central and are scheduled until 4:30 PM. The course price is $255 per student.
SafeLandUSA and SafeGulf in one class
Basic Orientation 7.0 combines the core safety orientation with an added offshore module to meet SafeLand and SafeGulf requirements. Ask your employer which credential your assignment requires before choosing between this class and the shorter SafeLandUSA option.
What the course covers
Learn to recognize common workplace hazards and understand safe work practices, personal protective equipment, emergency response, and worker responsibilities. The offshore module adds the orientation needed for the SafeGulf option.
Before your live Zoom session
- Read the registration email and complete the PEC Learn/Veriforce account setup before class.
- Prepare your workbook and check your internet connection, camera, and microphone.
- Be ready at 9:00 AM Central and allow time for the full class, offshore module, and assessment.
- Keep your camera on during class and testing. Do not drive or work while attending.
- Ask the instructor before leaving the session, and follow the emailed completion steps.
Completion information
Attend the full session and pass the required assessment. Check your name on your training record and certificate before providing them to your employer.

Is H2S Clear included?
